1. How much does it cost?
That depends on a few things. First of all, you should have Dragon
NaturallySpeaking Medical Suite or Professional with an add-on vocabulary.
If you do not currently own any of the aforementioned Dragon NaturallySpeaking
products, you will not be able to utilize speech recognition with an
Eloquently Stated program, and therefore will not benefit as much as if you had
the voice recognition software..
The cost for the Eloquent Physician with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical Suite v4.0 or Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional
v4.0 with an add-on vocabulary is $2495.00. The price for the
Eloquent Orthopedist, the Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical Suite v4.0 or Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional v4.0 with an add-on vocabulary
is $3000.00. If you purchase the recommended training
at the time of purchase the prices are $3495.00 and $4000.00 respectively.

2. What does it do?
The Eloquently Stated line of products creates
easily customized documents drawing off of a database of patient
information. The Eloquent Physician and The Eloquent Orthopedist contain
hundreds of pre formatted templates and thousands of Insertables within
those templates. All of contained information can be accessed by voice
or keyboard to produce quality reports in a fraction of the time it
currently takes you to produce your reports. In fact, if you see a significant number of patients with standard
problems you can literally produce and print a report which appears to be
custom dictated for your patient, all in less than 10 seconds.

3. How is this different than any other speech recognition engine?
The Eloquently Stated line of products picks up where speech recognition
leaves off. They are not speech recognition engines, rather they
are document creation assistants that use speech recognition as their
primary input method for speedy transcription. Using a series of commands called macros with the templates
and Insertables, the speech macros allow you to perform a multitude of different
functions with only a few spoken words. A speech recognition engine will
recognize your voice and has a few preprogrammed macros, however it really
doesn't have anything customized to you other than the actual speech profile.

4. Why are these templates better than the rest?
The templates in The Eloquent Physician and The Eloquent Orthopedist are the
best because they're completely customizable. Do you have a charting
system that you already use? It's a snap to incorporate it into The
Eloquent Physician. Do you like that one template in The Eloquent
Orthopedist but you really don't like the last sentence? Delete it
easily! Have a letterhead that you want at the top of your reports with an
image in it? You can add it at any time! The Eloquently Stated line
is truly made by doctors for doctors to be as flexible and eloquent as you want
it to be.

5. Is this program hard to learn?
No, however you will at least want to review the tutorials and the manual
included with your purchase. Also, it is highly recommended that you have a local reseller
install the program and visit with you to make your experience with any
Eloquently Stated product and speech recognition product a happy and profitable

6. I am not a doctor. Do I need this product?
Some of the other professional groups that can and have utilized this amazing
software are the
Mental Health industry (psychologists, psychiatrists, etc.), Physical Rehabilitation
professionals, and other groups that have large amounts of dictation that have
to be submitted to either insurance carriers, government agencies or other
medical professionals.

The Eloquently Stated product line comes with free phone support for 30 days and email and chat support for the
lifetime of the products. You may purchase additional support for the
Eloquently Stated products company-direct for $695 per year/license. However, if you purchase the additional
on-site installation and training from a reseller, you will also receive the
technical support of that local reseller. (Rates on this vary from individual
reseller to individual reseller).

10. Well, I am interested, but what if it doesn't work?
We understand that many people have their
doubts about speech recognition and template programs. There are many
programs that came out within the past 5-10 years that did the best they could
on the hardware that was available. However, for many doctors, the best
effort of the software was not good enough. Technology has advanced by leaps
and bounds over the past 2-3 years and the programs have taken advantage of that
new technology.

11. Do I have to pay for it all at once? It's kind of expensive.
If you already have Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical Suite or Dragon
NaturallySpeaking Professional (v4.0) you don't have to purchase anything other
than the Eloquently Stated product and training. Also bear in mind, while
this program was designed with speech recognition, it will work without it.
Take into consideration that many transcription bills per year cost much more
than the cost of The Eloquently Stated line and Dragon NaturallySpeaking with
training. Also, take into account how much time you will save and how much
quicker you will receive returns on your claims when you keep your transcription
in house and have a same day report turn over.

14. What are system requirements for Version 2.0?
If you plan on using speech recognition with this product, please refer to
the system requirements for that particular speech recognition engine.
While the Eloquently Stated line of products does allow dictation with other
speech recognition products, many of the macro abilities are disabled or
do not function properly unless the Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional or
Medical Suite 4.0 is used.
The Eloquently Stated Technical Support Department recommends the following for optimal speed and
workflow with the Eloquently Stated line of products:
- 128-256 Megabytes of RAM (depending on how many programs you plan to have
running in conjunction with the Eloquently Stated product)
- A Pentium III class processor (Any AMD, Pentium Celeron, PowerPC, Cyrix NOT
recommended), 400 Megahertz or higher
- 1 Gigabyte of Free Hard Drive Space
- A Windows Compatible Printer Driver
- Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000,or Windows NT
- A CD-Rom Drive
- Internet Access for online help and updates/phone line access and a

15. Do I have to use voice commands? Can I use a
combination of voice and point and click?
No, you do not have to use voice commands. The Eloquently Stated line,
while designed to work with speech recognition, does not require you to use speech
recognition. Indeed, many physicians have found a combination of speaking and
mouse clicking to be the quickest way to use the Eloquent Physician and the
Eloquent Orthopedist. As with everything with our program, it's up to you
and your preferences!

16. With what other
programs does the Eloquently Stated line of programs work? Are
records and demographics importable and exportable?
Eloquently Stated v2.0 has the ability to save documents to a Microsoft Word
compatible format (Word 97 or higher). You can import and export
demographics to different database systems, however import and export of any
data to and from any Eloquently Stated v2.0 product must be done with the aid
of a local representative. Information that will help clarify whether Eloquently Stated can meet your import export needs is:
- Type of database you would like to import/export to and from.
- What the fields you would like to import and export are.
- Who makes the program that you would like to import and export with.

17. Can I fax, email or batch print my reports?
Yes; all of these features are available in Eloquently Stated v2.0
products.

18. Can I include images in my reports?
Yes. Images are easily inserted into different areas of reports as long
as they're in .jpeg, .gif or .bmp format. Depending on the degree of
integration into reports, you will probably require a local representative to
set this option up for you.

19. How many users are recommended for Eloquently Stated v2.0?
We recommend up to 5 users in a networked environment adding and using the
same database. Eloquently Stated v2.0 is designed for small to midrange
practices or solo practice use only. For larger practices (hospitals,
large clinics, etc.) with 6 PC's for transcription or more, please contact us

23. I noticed that you have The Eloquent Physician and The Eloquent
Orthopedist. Why don't you have an Eloquent Cardiologist, or an Eloquent
Physical Therapist?
The Eloquent Physician has been applied to most major medical specialties
that require frequent transcription. The Eloquent Orthopedist was
developed in order to meet the massive transcription needs of
Orthopedists. Many doctors find that the preformatted templates in conjunction
with their own templates in The Eloquent Physician are enough to satisfy more
than their transcription needs. It is for this reason that we have not
developed any further medical template libraries that are specialty
specific. However, be aware that most Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Podiatrists,
Pediatric Medical specialists, and Occupational Medicine specialists have found
more value in The Eloquent Orthopedist v2.0 than The Eloquent Physician
v2.0. As a rule, for those professionals, we recommend The Eloquent Orthopedist
v2.0.
